ANÁLISE CRÍTICA DAS FONTES DE INCERTEZA ASSOCIADAS À MEDIÇÃO DA ACELERAÇÃO DA GRAVIDADE TERRESTRE NO LABORATÓRIO DE GRAVIMETRIA DO OBSERVATÓRIO NACIONAL

Abstract

This work proposes a calibration methodology and measurements with Scintrex gravimeters, CG-5 model, in the form of technical-scientific procedures. It is also carried out a critical analysis of the sources of uncertainty associated with measuring acceleration local with these instruments. It is presented a proposal for the calibration of absolute gravimeters in order to improve the metrological traceability of the quantity gravity in the country. The technical-scientific procedures were tested in field and in laboratory and the results are satisfactory. With these proposals, it is expected this work to be an initial collaboration of some of the various technical-scientific requirements that will complete the Quality Manual of Observatório Nacional’s Gravimetry Laboratory.
