Resumo:
EXOSS (Exploring Southerns Skies for New Radiants) it is a citizen science project that started its activities on May 2015 and later became a master graduate project developing its operational and scientific structure, improving main proposals specifications which are detecting meteors by video surveillance, get accurate orbits and connecting meteor science with asteroidal and cometary research. It is orga- nized on a hierarchial structure ruled by a board of four members that manages the technical operations and scientific directions, the project is operating on 10 states with 33 associates and 51 cameras as a monitoring network. Also, as part of EXOSS project, it was created the R-OASI network to expand meteors videomonitoring on brazilian northeast region. The project uses UFO software suite for detection, tra- jectory analysis and orbit calculations, so the results can be applyed on meteoroids, radiants and parental bodies research. The network registered 28 000 single meteors, of which 1624 are double meteors, enabling 1600 calculated orbits with good quality accuracy.
