Abstract:
This research had as objective to carry through an interpretative magnetometric, gravimetric and gamma radiometric study of the dykes bundle, located in the state of Espirito Santo, a structure that has received different nomenclatures along the years as Colatina Belt, Colatina Beam or Colatina Lineament. It crosses most of the state, being located between the cities of Ecoporanga and Vitória, with an area of approximately 7500 km², with 30 km width and 250 km length. The Colatina Belt is formed by several lineaments, which have preferential directions of N10-15W and developed over the core of the Neoproterozoic Araçuaí Orogen, which is characterized by the occurrence of rocks of the Brasiliano Orogeny. The data of the geophysical methods (magnetic and gamma radiometric) correspond to the Aerogeophysical Project of Espirito Santo - 1093 (2010), which was acquired through the digital repository of CPRM. The gravimetric data were acquired through ANP, as a result of the joining campaign of surveys executed by different institutions (ON, USP, Petrobras and CPRM). Using existing techniques in the literature, generated thematic maps associated with each physical quantity acquired through different methods, to identify and characterize the structural features in this region, associating them with the regional geology, aiming to investigate their behavior in the subsurface. In this study, was used computational routines for filtering, 2D modeling and 3D modeling, in order to determine the anomalous values in each physical quantity, to identify magnetic susceptibility, density, and radioactive signal, associated with the Colatina Belt. The products generated were correlated with existing geological data enabling the understanding in the structural and tectonic of the region. Determining contacts, depth of sources and subsurface structures associated with the Colatina Lineament, thus providing a better understanding of the variations of the current relief. Keywords:
